Description
This digital illustration was painted in January 2014 in photoshop to A3 size. It features a dusty, barren desert landscape with a man riding a camel. In the background can be seen a very old and weather beaten Saturn V rocket, as used for the Apollo moon landings, standing upright it appears for a very long time...
The rocket is shown to be similar in some ways to the surrounding rock formations, tall, old and worn by the sands of the desert storms, and part of the landscape. The rider on the camel has no interest in the rocket, it having been there longer than himself.
